Ferguson (Perth Rifle Club), firing his last shot, which won him the First Rifle Championship of Western Australia” South Perth “Kindly lent by Western Mail” The Photo was cut from The Social Kodak Vol 1 No.13 28 August 1902, btw pages 8 and 9, framed by The Modern Picture Gallery, A Mayhofer and Co, 445 Hay Street Perth. The Social Kodak was a small magazine devoted to the women's interests published in Perth in 1902, before it was absorbed into the Western Critic. The first WA Championship was organised by the Goldfields Rifle Association held at Menzies 24 to 27 June 1902. This predated the first official WA Kings Prize and Championship competition which was held December to January 1902-03.
