Historical information

Artworks created by Aboriginal artists as part of the Street Banners, 2012 Public Art Project in the City for NAIDOC week.

Three images by Rod Collard and three images by Wendy Hayden were scanned to banner.

According to the artist 'this is a painting of aboriginal and white spirits going free to coexist. Collaboration is symbolised in the bottom right hand of the painting. The olive leaf and olives symbolise Subiaco and the flowers are children.'
