House is weatherboard with a double hipped iron roof. Front verandah has enclosed sides, with iron/canvas blind partly rolled up on the right side. Window on the left side. Door in the middle. Fence across front.
House is known as "The Ark". It is in Henry Street and known as such because during one flood it floated right off its stumps and was only stopped by a fence.
Building at the rear of photo, possibly shed or stable.

On back of photo: The old house where we used to live when we came to Toodyay. Known locally as "The Ark". The water was higher after the photo taken.
