4th from right is Victor Miles, 3rd from right is Lionel Mason.
Another soldier could be James Leonard of Sawyers Valley and there is also possibilty of there being a Lee-Steere amongst the other soldiers.

Historical information

Identification of some of the men & historical information (below) was supplied by Margaret Miles, daughter of Victor Miles on 4 December 2019:
Victor Miles returned and farmed at Avondale dairy farm South Belmont. Died April 2004 in Albany Hospital aged 82.
Lionel Mason of Sawyers Valley was killed at battle of Gona, buried in Bomana war cemetery near Port Moresby.
